Blake's Famous Soup (Chicken Noodle Soup)

Description: Some tasty, thick soup. The noodles absorb the liquid pretty quickly, so it becomes more of a stew when there's leftovers.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4-5 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2-3 cans chicken broth
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1+ tsp black pepper
  • 1-2 pkgs Reams Frozen Homemade Noodles

Instructions

  1. Add about 6-8 inches of water to a large pot on the stove on high. Add chicken and let boil until chicken is done.
  2. While chicken is cooking, cut up the vegetables and set aside.
  3. When chiken is done, remove chicken from water and cut up into bite sized pieces, and set aside. Turn heat down to medium high.
  4. Add cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and spices to water and stir in.
  5. Add vegetables and cooked, cut up chicken and boil on medium high.
  6. When vegetables are crisp tender, add noodles and continue to bloil until noodles are tender.
  7. More Salt and pepper may need to be added to taste.
