Mom's Chili

Description: I know Mom made this often and Dad made a variation that's really spicy for Chili cookoffs by adding Ghost pepper seasoning and letting it just simmer for 12 hours. The recipe has been edited to adjust for what is actually used as of late.
Ingredients
- 1 lb hamburger
- Diced onion
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 2 can beans (pinto or kidney)
- 2 cans of chili
Instructions
- Brown hamburger in a large pot on medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until fragrant.
- Drain fat until there's about a tsp left.
- Add tomato sauce, beans, and chili, stirring together while bringing it to a boil.
- Cover and simmer for 10 minutes before serving with cornbread.
