Lemon Bars

Description: Justin has always bragged about how good these lemon bars are.
Ingredients
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 ¼ c. flour, divided
- 2 c. sugar, divided
- 4 eggs
- Lemon Juice to taste
- Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, mix together butter, 2 c. flour, ½ c. sugar until a crumbly mixture forms.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a 9"×13" pan. (No need to grease beforehand.) Bake for 15-20 minutes or until firm and golden
- In another bowl, whisk remaining 1 ½ c. sugar and ¼ c. flour with eggs and lemon juice. Add lemon juice to taste.
- Pour lemon mixture over the baked crust, making sure it's evenly coated.
- Bake for 20 minutes and remove from oven. Bars will firm up as they cool in the open air.
- Cut bars to size and dust with powdered sugar.
