Hamburger Rice and Sauce

Description: From the Wassom Family, a dish that doesn't require much, and is perfect to make your meat go further and fill up a hungry family. For a more balanced, richer flavor, try Creamy Beef and Rice Skillet.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground hamburger
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown 1 lb ground hamburger in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in about 2 cups cooked rice until evenly combined.
  3. Add 1 can cream of mushroom soup and about 1 cup sour cream; mix thoroughly.
  4. Add soy sauce a little at a time, stirring, until the mixture reaches a fairly tan color and tastes seasoned (you may need more than you expect).
  5. Heat gently until warmed through and serve.
