Oatmeal Cookies

Description: Some of the best oatmeal cookies you'll ever have. Soft, flavorful. Really just the best.


Ingredients

  • ¾ c. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ¾ c. flour
  • 2 c. oats

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds. Add brown sugar, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Beat till combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally.
  2. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  3. Beat in the flour, and then stir in the oats.
  4. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls, place 2” apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake in a 375°F oven for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden.
  6. Cool cookies on a wire rack.
