Original Source: Mom (Debbie) Farris

Description: The original name of this recipe was "Rick's College Breadsticks/Pizza dough" or something like that. Mom picked it up while at college and it's been a family favorite for a quick, tasty breadstick (and pizza dough) recipe ever since.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp active dry yeast
- 1 ½ c. water
- Honey
- 3 ½ c. flour
- ¾ tsp salt
- ¼ c. butter (melted)
Optional
- Garlic seasoning
- Parmesan cheese (grated, like the dusty kind)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a bowl or mason jar, warm the water to body temperature and add small amount of honey. Mix in the yeast and let it sit for 1 minute or two, allowing the yeast to activate.
- In a seperate bowl (preferably a mixer), mix in flour and salt. While mixing, slowly add yeast mixture to combine the dough.
- Mix until the consistency of bread
- Roll out breadsticks and bake in a pan for 20 minutes.
Alternatively, you can use the dough as pizza crust for homemade pizzas!
